Map does not show up in HaloCE

Hi,
i have a problem, hope you can help. i created a new map, added all the population, compiled it. i even got the map file (canyon.map). but in haloCE there is no map called canyon. when i create a dedicated server running canyon (sv_mapcycle_add canyon "5"), in the server list it says Danger Canyon, not canyon.
so, why can't i play my map? why doesn't it show up? please help.

edit: the game just don't "like" the name "canyon", i gave it a different name, now it works.
