Radiosity help
Radiosity help
Im having a bit of trouble with my radiosity. I tried it in sapien but soon gave up because it didnt appear to do anything not even show the level, just the sky. when I used tool it said that i needed a ui_..._mainmenu_... tag. It finished with the radiosity anyway but when I try and open it up in sapien, sapien closes right after it maximises and the game window shows the sky. I am stumped and it would be awsome if someone helped me with my radiosity problems cause im sure to have others later on.

Doh. I'm super tired. I have no idea, sounds like more of a Sapien problem, and I just can't help you there. Might want to check the gearbox forums, they're pretty helpful on that.
As for the ui thing, it's probably a bad copy of HEK, or you accidently deleted something. Although it shouldn't be looking for the ui when it does radiosity. Make sure you're running the right command.

thanks patrick for the link but ive already tried (correctly) through tool. This morning I created a test map to see if it was my map but I got the same thing. When I ran it through sapien radiosity with the following commands:
radiosity_quality 1
radiosity_start
the numbers were supposed to appear but all that happened was that my comp "thought" a while and gave me the numbers "0.000000 0.0000000 0.0000000". I think it might be a sapien error.
