does anybody know an app that lets you create the black box around the screen so i can record vids like RvB style and be able to block out the HUD and gun? it doesn't matter how much it costs, i just want to know any apps that have that feature... if not, if anyone knows a method that allows u to create the black boxes in Windows Movie Maker 2, plz explain... thx in advance

I'm sure you can do this with Adobe Premiere.

Yep. I'm pretty sure you just insert two black bars into the entire sequence. But I'm sure there is a simple edit -> click thing for it too.

You CAN do this with Adobe Premiere 6.5. It will cost u a bunch, but see if you can get a good deal on it. I got mine for $300. that was with a deal.

Anyway, yes it is possible, i do it to my movies. There is an effect called "Clip" . Apply this to ur movie clips, then in the Effect Controls box make sure on every movie clip with the effect "Clip", Clip Top is set to 18 and Clip Bottom is set to 34. Clip Left/Right should stay at 0.

I am a wizard with Adobe Premiere, so if anyone needs help, feel free to PM me, then i will give u my email/AIM from there.

wtf you talking about ripoffs for? Ripoff from what? It's the lazy way to cover up your first-person.

yeah i never found the no-hud mod and camera mod. Someone point me in the right direction of them, I'm sure that would be handy.

There is a no hud mod somewhere, and no arms would be simple; just edit the FP model.

Reticules have also been done.

OR you can simply give your filming gun a 1x zoom, make the hud and gun transparent, and toy with the bitmaps!!!
