Ok well i was on youtube looking for halo pc/ce easter eggs & i found a vid taken in HALO 3 MULTIPLAYER BETA of MC's face. Sweet!!

It is indeed old, and it's not John's face, it's just a generic Spartan's face.

then why is there a face in the MC h3 bitmap when that was posted (and then removed ;p)

DJ_Gnomey, it is there on the mesh. It is there on the texture. The mesh is UVW mapped to the correct spot on the texture. It is clearly and distinctly a face. This is not speculation, this is fact. I am telling you, rather, confirming for you, that it is a face under the visor. You can go right ahead and deny all of the people who have personally seen the model and the textures, but I don't see why you would. You said it was fake when it was posted in the Halo 3 board, and Veegie even showed the mesh with the face on it (Which was there for five days or so, now removed, in light of the rule that was established later), I'm assuming you missed that image. Either way, the evidence is there, it is not just people assuming, it is blatantly obvious from the official beta models and texture.

hehe, then when h3 comes out, itll have the guy face still even if you select to have a female voice.

Yea i watched the video lol it is very clearly a face... not some illumination or anything, it has eyes and a full nose...

but anyway...nobody thinks they might have seen this complete face before i swear to god i remember the whole face no helmet used in an ad for some game i know ive seen it before this, the exact same face

The face on the texture is about 22x30 pixels. I highly, highly doubt any advertisement would use such a small image (They wouldn't, ever), and therefore the quality lost from downsizing a similar face would prevent you from being able to make a clear association between the two. I'm sure you've probably seen something similar, but to say it's the same face is a very hard thing to sell, because of the quality of the face in the beta (Very low).
