movie makin help plz

hey guys me and my friends wanted to start making movies of halo 2 and we got some good ideas but we dunno how to record the stuff and get it on the computer if anybody can help out that would be great.

this should be in the movie section
but...
I use a thing called Pinniacle u can go to best buy and buy one for 100 bucks... it has the connecto (so it will appear on ur computer) a movie editor and some other random thing that i dont use but i like alot....

sure man no problem i am still amuatere at movie making but alot of my freinds say i can always get the perfects shots....yah..
