Well...

Capture from PC:
-Fraps

Capture from XBOX:
-Capture card

Editing (for Beginners):
Windows Movie Maker 2

Editing (for Advanced):
Adobe Premier Pro

(Of course, Im just giving some examples, there are many other options)

Get a Halo CE server with a modded map, or whatever, assemble your team, or do what you want.. give them parts, you know the drill

Have one guy record it or you record it with Fraps.

Open up in Windows Movie Maker 2.. put in the recorded fottage, edit the footage, add in music, voice, etc. and upload to the Internet and post the link for people to watch it.

There are many other scenarios, im just suggesting one of the most popular ones.

no video cam needed.

fraps is a program that when you press this certain key it will start recording your gaming screen.
