HELP! i am getting an exception error

I just got finished converting the first half of the second level (halo), into a MP level. I opened it in SparkEdit, and placed all of the nessesary objects (spawning points, vehicles, powerups, equipment, etc.). But when i moved the map file into the MAPS folder, and ran Halo, it came up with an error, after it said, "loading map bloodgulch" or whatever it sais when you are loading the multiplayer level.
The error said sumthing like... "DATA EXCEPTION" "Gathering the nessesary data" or sumthing like that, and it closed :!:

WHAT DID I, OR AM I, DOING WRONG :?: :!: :?: :!: :?: :!:

This problem is going to be impossible to pinpoint. Exceptions can get caused for a multiitude of reasons.

You put it in PC, not CE, right? I dont' know what to tell you. Did you forget to place the flags and start a ctf game? because that would cause it.

Yes, it is on PC.
And EVERYTHING was on the level, because i merged it with the bloodgulch map, and just moved everything from bg, over to its place on the halo map... so it shouldve worked, dangit

after this shit happening, its going to be a loooooong time before i try to mod my own level again

i dunno...you could try using Mono's tutorial on doing SP->MP conversion....

Then this box (which everybody is familiar w/) pops up, before halo closes...

That's just a generic exception error for Halo. You can't find out your specific problem from it.

That sucks...

I just tried it all over again, with two different maps, and it STILL did the same damn thing, omfg, i HATE modding my own stuff, it never works :evil:

sorry man but that conversion is not possibe(yet) it has somthing to do with moving the spawn points outside of the skybox ie. the halo(a10) is too big to fit in to the skybox(that has been moved) the skybox is moved to fit around the bsp. because there is no mp level with a skybox big enough to fit around the a10 part 1 bsp the conversion is not possible, as i said. if som1 works out how to increas the size of the sky box this would be possible. but untill then i suggest just doing other maps.

Oh, now i understand, thanx for puttin it in words, i thought that might be the problem, just wasnt sure or not
