Software for video capture (pc)

I want to make my own videos on halo for the PC. I have Fraps, but it doesnt record sound. I want something that records sounds, and video. HELP!
p.s. If its free, or a GOOD trial, thats even better. I prefer free. Hah

fraps actually can record sound.
just start it, right click on the active thingy, select settings, go to the movies tab, and check the box that says "record sound"

What version of Fraps are you using? v2 can record sound - get it at astalavista.box.sk

I just want something else, that records sounds along with video, something that gets the job done, and free. ANYTHING will do.

you can change the size of a file if u click help and go to video it explains it

fraps sucks. it bulks up your hard drive
video compression sucks and it lags your game

What we need is a built-in video compression engine, with good output... someone talk to gearbox now!!!
