idea on doors(machines)

I have used HMT to do a PMI with a door but no matter how many doors of the same kind they all open at once and this got me very frustrated but that got me to thinking that this does not happen in SP maps so i was wondering if you do a sp>mp conversion would the doors all open seperately. i would test this out but i have not got a sp>mp to work yet for various reasons and i was wondering if anyone else knows the answer to this

No, they wouldn't. SP doors in a SP>MP conversion would act the same as they would in a normal MP level.

Um could it be cuz they all work off the same model, PMI multiple models into it and then try it that way.

No, they don't. They run off the same machine, you'll have to either: get a different door from SP, or make a new machine and link it to the door.

In an SP>MP conversion only the SBSP is used from a SP map, the scenario is used from the base map.

Theres one word that will solve all your problems....duplication! duplicate the mach metas dudes, give them diff names....and walla, import them seperately.

Thats what we're talking about, make a new machine by means of meta duplication, then link it to the door using HHT.

?..i thought u were talking about the doors that open when u push a button.it would be fun to have an elevator and doors

.i like the doors in the 343 guilty.the 1ns that were made by the forrunners they look like human doors.no like the covie doors.

We know how to make them, but halo's netcode doesn't allow triggers, so were basicly stuck on that idea.

im stuck on inporting and exporting.
can someone tell me how do it using the tools in HMT.halo modification tools.and its an sp>mp thing.and i want it to not take somethings spot.
crio doors from a10 to BG.

Its called Halo Map Tools.
Ok heres a tutorial-:
Open the map that has the doors you want to extract.
Find the door you want to extract.
Look for a button that says "save meta", right next to it is a checkbox that says "Recursive". Check it.
Now click on "save meta", and choose a location to extract it to.

thanks but there is a halo modification tools.it has all the tools u need
spark/hht/hme/hmi/hmt/pff-o-matic/pff-studios/reflexive tools.
dont us them all and dont know how to us some but its there.

um...ok hear is what i did because it ant working
1=went into a10
2=went into [mod2]model(pc) and saved "levels\a10\devices\doors\door cryo chamber\door cryo chamber"in the folder i put my maps into.
3=opened blood gulch.
4=insert blank space into meta file
5=listed the meta's name
6=got b****ed at.
7=ask for help

First of all, you extracted a model, and not a door.
And I have no fucking clud why you did 4 and 5.
