Corrupt maps?

Why is it that if I swap something with a hex editor on a map and try to play it Halo gives me "Corrupt Map" error?

Tehehehe, Looks like I need to close the hex editor while playing the map, NM.

lol, looks like someone needs anger management. :D

Oh by the way I'm the same person from xbox scene. The same one who figured out to edit cache002 as nobody else could figure it out.

Does anyone know where 3dmax stores the request key? I need to delete it. I reinstalled 3dmax several times but its no good.

You need to swap the offset with the value, not thesecond offset...

er, I dunno what you just said there, is that even possible?

I was switching values, its just that I didn't close the hex editor when I started playing my map.

That is your problem, you can not have your map open in a hex editor ehn playing halo...even you should have known that...
