I can getin the pelican, and I think its W-driver for the lifepod seat 0, but what do I need to name seat 0 for the covy drop ship, and where do I enter it? (WITHOUT using the swap trick)

Just change it to B-driver, same as with the Pelican.

well, i did that 2, and from what i saw, there was no way 2 get in, even if u change the name

The real pickle is getting these into MP without messing up the models.

wait, do ya mean change where it says 'Seat' write b-driver?
and can u actually walk up to it and hop in rather then having to be in a warthog and get a checkpoint?
third my game always gets an exception whenever i do this.
can someone please tell me step-by-step on how to do this and have it work

ill try my best, but i tend 2 leave details out, so forgive me if i do

1) open idk what level, lets make it AotCR (aka b40)

2) go to pelican under vehicles and click it so the vehicle editor plugin opens up

3) in the seat drop down menu, click seat 0

4) there should be a text box that says "P-driver" change the P to a B

5) then save (i think HMT already does this, but im not sure)

6) then what i do is go to pelican under scenery

7) where it says 44564AC change that to 4381DA8 (different 4 different maps)

8 ) now here u must hit save

9) now play halo, and when u get 2 the crashed pelican by the tank, it should be runnin, so flip it and climb on top of the cockpit and enter

10) to lower urself, hit crouch, to ascend hit space, and then fly forward w/ w (i know the last one was a no brainer) when u wanna get out, make sure ur rear right thruster is connected 2 the ground, cuz thats where the exit point is. also, marines automatically get in ur pelican and shoot at stuff

edit: 1 more thing, gamey got the near perfect pelican into bg, di, infin, and timberland, its in th ftp section

Well, thanks, even though you have some unesecary steps there about changing scenery, but my question was how can I get into the covy dropship, The pelican is easy, a simple B-driver is all you need, but the covvy drop ship has no aparent seat entrance, nowhere to push X. What can I enter in the Seat 0 to be ablke to get in one? Unless there is no seat, which I dont belive because if you can get in one with the swap trick, you can get in one with seat renaming. ANyone know what to put? C-driver? CC-driver? CD-driver?

o yeah i know, i was telling shadowbeast, but i dont know about the dropship either, becuz i even tried gettin in the passenger seats, but it doesnt seem physically possible (hint hin RvB) seriously though i cant figure it out either

Why do you change it to B-driver? To make it more realistic change it to W-driver because instead of getting out the back you'll get out of the cockpit.

ok i did that now what do i do?
do i change the warthog to a pelican and then get in?

ok nevermind i did that and it worked. but i keep getting an exception.
do u guys get exceptions when u do this? did i do it a wrong way?
