HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Can someone please upload FTW for even just a day and send me a link? I loved that mod but the drivers for my hard drive were corrupted and I can't find it anywhere now.

You're not going to find it. The only copy was on his website pepness.net, which is no longer up. And it's a LARGE file, I'd be surprised to see someone upload, especially if it invokes Pepsi's Wrath.

I know it's unlikely that someone will actually upload it, I was just hoping to find it somewhere. I remember finding it a few months ago after some long google trawling, but I haven't been able to find it again

There is a mac version here
There should be someway to port it to pc i am sure.

Yes, unless I or anyone else on mac uses Conure's bitmap internalizer... which breaks halo for XP.

Hmm... well I downloaded it anyways. I'll have to see if that was used. Seeing as Pepsi was on a PC, it's unlikely.

You shouldn't be posting links to software like that. From what I read on the website, the purpose of this program is so people can easily play Halo without paying for it.
Which, you know, is a illegal.

well since you bothered to take down the whole post, i guess halo FTW would be illegal too... its not like i took time out of my day to upload the 400mb+ and pay $15 a month for the service....

Taking advantages of holes in software is very illegal if you end up circumventing copyright measures put in.

Your program allows people to play the game without paying for it.
That's stealing.

Just because you put a copy of your crack in the .rar along with FTW doesn't make FTW disallowed, it just makes your program disallowed. If you want to put it back onto Halomods, you'll upload it without your program.

Im just going to throw this out their, pepsi said if you want it you need to a find someone else who has it and get them to give it to you or b get someone else to upload, so i dont think he would have a fit,

He did, but due to some unreasonable circumstances, he was put into some read-only group.. so he cannot post the links
He had uploaded the FTW mod separate from the crack itself, but the moderator didn't bother looking at the facts and just removed his privileges...

Posting a link to a website which contained illegal material is not unreasonable.
It's the rules.
The moderator saw the facts. The website itself said that the program was to be used by people who wanted access to Halo without any 'hassles' of cracks, and did not need a serial which is provided when somebody actually buys the game.. you know.. the legal way of acquiring the game.
Here's an actual quote from the website:

The HPE was developed by Souless (at the time, in the 3oo Clan). The idea behind the project was to allow new Halo players to get halo without any hassles. HPE automatically sets up Halo, without the need of a CD Key or any cracking software. You do not have to update or overwrite any files at all; the setup is built-in with the required files.

Such content is against the rules of this website, and it is illegal, which is why it was removed.
Not unreasonable.
There is no reason to fight the case any further.
