To those with LCD screens over the max resolution of Halo...

Fear no more! I just discovered a (probably already well-known) way to force Halo to run at higher resolutions to prevent that fuzzy look. Simply add -vidmode width,heihgt,refresh at the end of the target box in your shortcut. mine looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -vidmode 1680,1050,75

well I have been running Halo 1 @ 1920X1080 on my Vizio 47" HDTV for over a year now with the foll0wing settings vidmode 1920,1080,60
Works great!!

Unfortunately it won't let you run it at a resolution higher than your monitor supports. That would be awesome for taking screenshots.
