Online campaign

I have 2 questions

1 does halo combat evolved require the disc to run( ditto for halo 2)

2 does halo combat evolved/ halo 2 vista( I don't feel like postng he same question in a different forum) have a co op online campaign mode? In getting halo 1 in a couple of days and halo 2 vista in about 13 days

I thought I read somewhere about some patch that let you play it w/o a disk for halo 1

There is a patch, but I'm not sure if we're supposed to talk about that sort of thing.

It's the patch released by Gearbox. Yes, Patch 1.08 removes the need for a CD at startup.

there was a patch that you were legally able to burn from your own disc and make an image of ur disc on ur HD then apply it with freeware. it is NO WORSE than modding halo with hmt, but a lot of people are misinformed when they think it is illegal. if you make your own patch its legal.



but since halo was updated to 1.08 it is able to run without the disc

For all my games i just make an .iso and mount it with Daemontools. Except Halo, because of 1.08.
