energy sword help

Yes I modded the energy sword into bloodgulch,then modded the energy sword so it wont disappear and put a hud in for the sword but I still can pick it up so can any one tell me what Im missing.

If you can pick it up and have an HUD, you're not missing anything. What's your problem?

If I play as a elite I can pick it up,but If I play as master chif I can't thats what im trying to fix. any idea?

In the weapon tag, change the weapon type to 'plasma rifle' instead of energy sword. That should fix it.
