HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ok so i want to make some pretty tight sounds. Im there using goldwave making some pretty cool sounds and i save it. I go back and try importing the sound and it works. Now heres the part that pisses me off...i shoot the gun and hear a loud anoying scraching sound....kinda like

Try making the files you import smaller or the same filesize as the originals.

make sure that the frequency etc are correct.

how do i make a file smaller using goldwav?

Umm... well you have to keep it the same compression and frequency as halo's files, so you can't really.
