What do you mean?
Has anyone made a weapon that fires lasers in MP?
if so, yes many people have, usualy editing the sentinel beam.

Yeah, all you do is give a projectile the sentinel beam trail, with no other effects (model, mgs2, or even impact effects).

I released some old laser models a while back...
Search my posts, this was back in 07 I believe, so you're going to have to dig around.
