SparkEdit + HMT = EXCEPTION

When I try to mod a map with both SparkEdit and HMT, I get an exception. Should I download some sort of plugin, or is this a problem that cannot be solved?

Wait... you mean like at the same time? I know a problem I had when writing code for windows was that if I opened multiple streams to the same file it'd crash the program. I don't think windows likes two programs talking to the same file at once. If that's not what you meant then disregard this post.

I didn't even consider that he was trying that, because you definitely can't do that.

I tried using HMT and HHT together, didn't turn out too great.
It's probably the same deal, save your changes, close the program, open the other one.
This is a helpful tool to have, it provides an easy to use interface for loading most modding applications.

I don't use them at the same time, but what I do in SparkEdit is put weapons and scenery in specific places.

In HMT I just change stuff about the weapons, vehicles, bipeds, etc. And I use it in both SP and MP.

You can't duplicate or delete objects in SP, it's your fault if you're doing that, not HMT's.

OK. None of my maps right now are broken, though. This is an old problem that happened to me, and I didn't use it on any of my current maps.
