i've looked at the animations, and the one I want (FP grenade throwing) is not part of the ball's list of animations... so is it possible to somehow import this animation from another gun to the Ball??
or is there another way (easier or harder)? HELP ME!!

As far as I know, not without CE. Animations are still a CE only branch, and to add a whole other animation to the tag would need CE.
The reason it's not there is because throwing a grenade or firing would drop the ball.

I think you could just swap the antr tags, but I don't know if any of the others will look okay holding the ball.

You can't swap antr tags because the weapon will dissapear completely.

actually, i'd prefer if the ball dissapeared... it fits the purpose of what i intend to create...
i will see what happens when i swap antr tags.... maybe it will work

There is a flag under the weap tag for the ball that will allow or disallow the usage of grenades.

I believe he already has that. He wants the animations for throwing to show though.

i don't think the animations for the ball have built in grenade throwing animations... and turning them on isn't just a Yes/No thing, i believe...
oh well

Go into Matg globals/globals and change projectile/frag grenade/ frag grenade to weapon/ball ? - Seems to make you throw in a more of an angle than straight.
