A Question

I am currently working on two new campaign mods, but they involve some biped swapping. Problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to get the bipeds (Elites, Cyborgs, Grunts and Jackals) Into a dropship/pelican. I swapped the Covenant with Cyborgs and Marines, and the Humans with Elites, Jackals and Grunts. I can't seem to get any of them into a dropship of any kind. Any ideas?

I took all of their codes (EXAMPLE:1907D34) and I copied and pasted them into text documents and pasted them into the other biped's spot. Also, how can I make the energy sword work?

the energy sword will only work for the right actv tags really, if you give it to anything else w/o changing how that AI acts, then it'll stay back and shoot at the enemy. The reason there are seperate AI tags for the sword holders is because they are beserking and charge directly at the enemy.
What you did was a meta swap, thats never good really. You should learn to swap dependencies using HHT or preferably eschaton. I'd get used to using eschaton, it may seem a bit harder now but in the very near future it'll be much easier to use with an upcoming new release, and the things I've seen with this program are infinitely times better then anything using HMT.

I should probably get used to dealing with eschaton. When I joined, HMT was still in development.

lol yeah, the new eschaton can kick HMT around the schoolyard.

Yeah, but HMT has a big brother called damage plugins and map rebuilding. He also scores with the girls more, because he's better looking.
Anyway, to answer the question, don't swap meta. It's much easier and better to swap dependencies instead. If you can't get some bipeds into certain seats of vehicles, rename the seats. For example, if you name the pelican driver seat something like 'W-driver', you can fly it.

yea, i had troubles with something similar back when i was working on a mod where you were a covenant elite and you were against marines, i later found out that also made cut scenes and map triggers screw up big time. except i switched the cov drop ship for the pelican and vice versa
never got it working though

Eschaton is big brother with map rebuilding.

I disagree with everything except the UI, I love the blue.
Plugins are interchangeable within escahton, if it works with another program, it works with eschaton.
If you've seen what eschaton does with rebuilding, you would cry at all the time you spent PMI-ing. Your project would've been done in about 3 months tops, no lie.

Um.. I don't use a Mac (I pray to God that someday I will) so I don't know what you're getting at.

If you've seen what eschaton does with rebuilding
I've been messing with esch for the past half-hour or so and can't figure out how to get it to batch extract, let alone rebuild. The option is greyed out.

v 0.7.
Doesnt work for me, at all. Probably never will no matter what Alt does.
Works with others to certain extents. From what I heard still needs some fixing
But when it's fully working, modding will be completely changed.

How do I get 0.7, if only to try it out?
