Ok so I figured I had a good idea as to how to PMI so usually I don't resort to Tutorials, but people keep saying that just extracting to one build folder is the best way.
I have followed this Tut: http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=77483
Over 3 times to the letter and it always build fine and gives me the gathering exception data once I load my map.
This is what I do:
(Note I just say Level because I have done this with 3 different maps just to see if that was the problem)
- Make the two folers BSP and Build.
- Extract the level and bsp for the level.
- Open up a campaign map like b40.
- Save the pelican for example to my build folder.
- Get the Offsets.
- Extract the Raw model.
- De-Crap.
- Copy the new Level.sbsp.meta over the old one in the levels/test/Level/ Folder
- Rebuild select the map and add the tag in the bottom box.
- Go in HMT turn the Vehicle into scenery and then import via Spark edit.
Then I run my map and exception EVERY time.
