PMI Problem

I have:
- Extracted the map
- Extracted my SP Models+Meta Data
- De-crapped them
- Mixed the folders
- Rebuilt the map added the De-crapped models via builder
So no problems until I tried to load it into spark edit. I can't see my models.
I went into HMT and turned them into a Scen type and tried finding it in spark edit. I get no errors but it just doesn't show up in the tag loading section so I can't add it.
Anyone have any idea whats wrong? Btw it shows up in HMT if that isn't already obvious.

Believe it or not, that's where a lot of people go wrong. Could you tell me exactly what you did?

Ok so what I did was first I took all my models folders and put them together in the build folder overwriting the folders as I went along then after that I grabbed my extracted map's folders and copied over the models folders.

Just do what it says in the tutorial. Extract new items straight to your build folder, don't bother with any foldering farce.

Hmm would I end up copying over my batch extract folders onto them though? Would that cause a problem or no..

Batch Extract to a folder named build. Extract your tags to that same folder.
Multiple folders just adds more chance for error.

Ok well I just tried a simple PMI with the Giant plasma bridge from a30.
It still doesn't show up in Sparkedit.
Heres what I did:
- Extracted BoardingAction to Build
- Extracted BSPs to BSP
- Opened a30 Extracted the bridge to Build (checked off the box)
- Saved Offsets to Offsets
- Extracted the raw model to Build/levels/a30/bridge (or w/e its called)
- De-crapped the model
- Put the new BoardingAction.sbsp.meta in the levels/test/boardingaction folder
- Re-Built adding all the meta files from the bridge including my de-crapped model
- Went to HMT turned the bridge tag from Mach->Scen and saved
- Opened Spakedit went to Import Tag and it doesn't appear there still
No folder crap no nothing.

Only add the light bridge machine meta. Everything else is added automatically. What are you answering to HMT's questions during rebuild?

I answer yes and add the new verticies+indicied and use the modified offset. I think there is something wrong with my HMT. I just tried doing a simple noob mod like changing projectiles and game globals and they are not effecting anything in game..

Are you running Vista or anything else unusual?

Vista is not unusual. Vista is not the problem here.

Yes I'm using Vista, but my paths should all be correct.
My Halo is installed to
'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo'
and the maps I was replacing/modding are located at
'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS'
I don't understand whats wrong O.o this is far from my first time modding I'm no expert though I'm not a moron either this is so strange.

If you aren't already doing so, run your modding tools as an administrator.

Yea I ended up running my HMT as Admin awhile ago, because it was having trouble building maps I'll try that with spark edit. Though I don't think that is the problem.. As I said even trying noob mods like switching projectiles is not working.

Yes I have the most recent one. I don't know whats wrong I even went and just re-dl'd the HMT plugins and nothing still. the weirdest part is that the changes I save get saved in HMT but nothing happens when I load up halo. It just runs normally.

Run halo as an administrator.

Vista likes administrators.

True. Did you get your main problem solved then?
