uploading bitmaps

here's what the deal is:
i have a mod on my computer that i'm working on, right now, as some of you may know, im working on reskinning the game as part of it. the actual mod that is on my computer ATM is rather buggy, so i don't want to upload that, but for the reskin i used that little "EOF update" trick to get some of the skins to apply ONLY to a certain map. i want to send JUST the reskin, NOT the actual mod, to someone

i know already that to upload it i would have to upload the entire bitmaps.map instead of a ppf. but what i don't know is this:
since i got the skins to be specific to certain maps does that mean i have to upload all the map files that i used EOF update on? or will uploading the bitmaps automatically apply the EOF thing when placed in the MAPS folder in the Halo Directory?
will uploading just the bitmaps and not the maps cause errors?

EOF tricks edits the map so that the bitmap tag points to that new location in bitmaps.map. If you want anything imported with EOF to show, you're going to need to give them a copy (or ppf) of the map.

You could send just the .dds files and let them inject the bitmaps themselves.

The above is tue, but not good for large projects. If there are more than a few bitmaps to inject, send a map.ppf and a bitmaps.sppf.

The only other option I can see is to take clean maps... inject your bitmaps and send him those new maps without the other mods in question.
