Pelican pilot entrance and in MP...

OK.. Multi-tier question here...
I can fly the pelican in SP no problem, both through the drivers seat and the bay seats. I know the trick how to get in the drivers seat by using saved checkpoints where you are in a hog. Is there a way to make an entrance point for the pilots "0" seat on the Pelican. The checkpoint trick works but when you get out you can only get in the back thereafter. Anybody have an idea...?
Second question... Like most people here I can rebuild a map with pelican info in it. But the model itself is not export/extracting or importing right. All the properties are there, I can even fly it, but the pelican model is all messed up.
Any thoughts?

1st, i luv ur skins(u should make a pelican skin)
ok 4 ur 1st question, where seat 0 is change the name to B-driver, then swap it with sumthin on the map so u can get in an empty one. to get in it i usually climb on top of it, then stand over the pelican's cockpit, then it will say "press e to enter driver seat of pelican" then u can get in and out np. btw when u land to get out, keep in mind that u will (most of the time) exit and reappear at the back engines/thrusters
as 4 ur 2nd question, no one knows how 2 fix that yet, or if it can even be done b4 the next hmt version

now if we can only get that damn model to extract right.
Oh yea.. anyone know how to remove the distant haze on objects in Death Island? I have removed it on the landscape and structures by swapping data with T&R.... But the vehicles/rocks/trees are still hazed out at a distance...
I'm working on some complete vehical skin sets now... It will include matching skins for every vehicle.

well, u could try to do a map rebuild while leaving out the haze, but i wouldnt recommend it, cuz chances r halo will crash if u try. but go for it, cuz its the only way i could do it w/o learning hex and meta

Just Download an older WinRar from rarlab for free instead of the new trials...

Actually go download IZArc, its free and opens up all of the compressed files like .zip, .rar. Just search for it on google.

Well i have gotten the pelican in mp PERFECT.Yes model and all.I have beenm working on it for a VERY long while(well since hmt3 came out) and I have found specal ways to fixt the damn model.Ill be releaing in the next week or so.Mabey shorter but ill get this thing perfect.or as close to perfect as p[ossible.ill also put up pics of my models getting better wit da pelican.

Pardon my peccimism, but I won't believe a word of your claims until I see a genuine .map file for download. No offense, just being careful not to get my hopes up.

I too am very curious to see how you "got" HMT3 to correctly inject the models.. It seems in my case the __unnamed (0) - 5668 vertices -- 9212 indices.obj" file is the one HMT3 hates for me. Congrats on the success if it is true...
BTW... in SP you can pick up a full crew of marines in the back of the Pelican and fly them around. They will never jump out though, unless you toss a nade on them. But they seem like more effecient soldiers in the back of the Pelican than on the ground. Go figure.

EXACTLY!!Lebowski you hit it right on the head.But you see thats not the ONLY problem.There are many many.Check every vehicles model...You might wanna take a close look at the warthogs......But ill get pics up asap.the model isnt completly perfect,still some scratchy areas but basicly its nice and together
