secondary fire?

is it possible to give a hog secondary fire much as a tank or banshee does?

On a Mac, I'm 100% sure you can't. On a PC, I'm 80% sure you can't.

See second sentence. I'm pretty sure you can't. You could use a different gun on the turret, such as the banshee's gun or the tank's - I think.
Sorry about the "Pretty sure"s and the "I think"s. It's been months since I've modded - I think it was about April.

Duplicate a plasma pistol, swap it for the hog's weapon, follow the most recent tutorial on dual triggers in the tutorial section for more info

What DeadHamster said. if you actually use good old HMT .75 you can non recursively export meta of the Plasma pistol then inject it over another weapon. From there you can alter the weapon so it functions like the original.

Good to see you back. Things have changed, since those old days of CE>Mac Conversions we did.
@Tucker, also you may want to investigate the fact you can allow the driver to use the weapons they have on them while driving.
