gathering exception data???

i need help so i can mod with HMT when i mod a map with i test it out but this damn messege pops out "gathering exception data.." can anyone help so i can mod

That is just a general error the game gives.
Explain what you are changing in HMT.

There's rarely a "fix". More often than not you're going to be starting from scratch with a vanilla copy of your map file. You did make backups of your map files right?

ok so i was just testing i swithched the magnum proj to a plasma charged bolt one,and assult rifle proj with sniper rife one and thats it .

what orperating system are you using if using vista then right click on HMT and clack run as administrator

That in no way would help his situation. Running as administrator isn't a quick fix for anything. The "Gathering Exception Data" error is usually a cause of a corrupt tag within Halo.
