How do I change the "race" gametype on different maps so that it forms my own "race track" with sparkedit?

look for the race "flags" in sparkedit.
They're like the hill flags and stuff like that.

isnt there nodes that you can move around? pretty sure there are nodes for odd balls and king. im not really sure because i havent really tried to edit those but they might also have to be edited in HMT with the coordinates but i cant tell you for sure. nice DH. the WWII project is going down the drain isnt it? :?

they're markers, and you can move them with sparkedit, just like CTF flags, oddball spawns and king of the hill areas. Just have to find them

sweet, is there a way to add more race "flags" to make the laps longer? or does it restrict me to the existing flags?

You sound like one of those people running a campaign, who at the end of the commercial, say "I'm [name] and I approve of this message."

I was always like WTF, if you didn't approve of this message, then why would you be showing it?

Its to show that (s)he's actually in charge of it, and it's not somebody else doing it without their knowing.

With darwin you can probably add them in maually, and blindly cause you have no coodinates.
EDIT: Oops, wrong topic :\.

What I don't understand is if you can dupe teleporters with no problems in sparkedit, then I don't see why you can't dupe new race track points. They're effectively the same data with a different enum value. All you'd have to do I should think would be to change the team index number. Just like how each teleporter pair has a team index number, each race flag has one. If you make a new one that's one higher it then it shouldn't be an issue. Unless Sparkedit does the team index increment automatically when you make new teleporter pairs. Probably would need a little hex editing then.

While we're on that subject, is there any reason it can't swap ITMC tags?

I dunno, I've seen some pretty outrageous race tracks.

but unlike halo 3, halo 1 + sparkedit has infinite budget and stuff like that, plus you don't need to stack up containers to get an object to float with sparkedit, i can go on and on as much as i'd like to, doesn't necesarily have to follow the markers that the race gametype gives...oh my god the gephyrobia race track is going to be sooooo fun to make

speaking of halo 3, i HAVE seen outrageous race tracks there, but i have not seen 1 actual race "track" for halo 1, correct me if i'm wrong
