Ok i Just installed Halo PC, Then i started it up. It worked perfectly normal. Now after that first start up i want to start the game up again and play. Then it just stays at the Splash screen (no not the one with the Halo sign and a blue outline on the box) and it freezes. I don't know why this keeps happening. I recently had the same problem not to long ago when i uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

are you sure your computer can run halo correctly? unless its from the '80s, it should be...

maybe one of the movie files is missing, so halo freezes?

open up task manager and see if there are any processes running that are hogging up your system's resources, also what are your pc's specs, there mabey a conflict with drivers

Why is it that everyone that plays Halo PC seems to barely have the computer to do so? :?

OF COURSE, if they can't run Halo, obviously Crysis will be much easier to run. Why didn't we think of this sooner?

My specs are...

Ati Xpress Series 200 128mb with 2.0 SM and PS

2GB Ram DDR2

AMD Sempron Mobile 3500+ 1.80GHz

60gb HDD

I run Halo CE fine with max settings.

And yeah i ran crysis on my system with tweaked settings like High Res Textures and Shadows and Physics, No HDR. I still had lag though lol.

I run Halo PC in full max settings as well.

Try Uninstalling and then Install it again.
Make sure you are not using any modified files also to see if that is the problem.

You got the wrong idea.
If someone knows the specs of a game theyl try and get a computer that will be able to run it.
if you got a pc to run crysis then it would have no issue playing halo.

I uninstalled Halo PC, then I reinstalled it. Still freezes at start up WTH.

I guess I Should Stick with Halo CE for now. I really don't want to reinstall my Windows OS. That would take time and I would lose all my files.
