Why not just use the CE weapon tag, as oppposed to just the model tags.

Wait, are you on trial? Cause that would explain why.

Let me guess...

You wouldn't be able to use the full weapon tags because you can't rebuild with stock HMT, so instead you injected the model's meta overtop the stock AR model?

That's going to be nearly impossible to skin accuratly, I hate to break it to you.

You're best bet for trial would be to either use a remodeled BR, or get the Full Halo.

If you need help getting a remodel, PM me. I got plenty of 'em lying around.

Unless this is custom by wave of lag (?), then this must be ripped from Halo 2. Use the bitmaps it had in CE.

Or just get uvws and skin from there.

Now doing this over the AR bitmap, that would be hard.

whether its ripped or not it looks better then any "br remodel" I've ever seen...

I am in no way a modeler (I only know a little about 3DS and Milkshape from messing around for a few hours) but can't you completely reskin something piece by piece?

yeah. in CE.

And no sh*t it's better then any remodel. It's either a scratch model, or one ripped straight from Halo 2 (I'm almost positive it's not ripped.) It's obviously going to be better then remodels.

Link/pic of your BR?

mhm..

Preformance/Quality > How you did it

Just saying, I'd rather have a BR with all the anims, nodes, and such looking amazing then a BR that barely moves and looks stretched has hell, or doesn't look like a br at all :P

I agree with you, I'd much rather have a CE Battle Rifle then a remodel, but it just throws me off a bit when people complain about the cleaness and accuracy or remodels. Sorry if I blew up a bit.

And were you talking to me about the link/pic?

edit: I'm assuming so. Latest/Cleanest remodel, the one I gave to philly for FTD but w/o the animations:

and just for the hell of it, with the animations:

Going back to my previous question..

I guess you could learn to do it in CE (probably better anyway? =\)
Or get someone else too

UVW Unwrapping that is going to be a pain, let alone making a texture for it.

Why dont you learn to skin, then skin it yourself?
