Model crapping when another is imported

Post by Philly »

I have two models in a rebuilt b40.map. Both are new to the map and have been de-crapped before rebuilding. Whenever I inject a model into one, the other becomes a crapped version of it. This means that I cannot have fully coherent models, which with I shall not put up. Is there any way to fix this?

Did you inject both of them at the same time?

That's not possible. But I did inject one and then the other, if that's what you mean.

Be a bit more specific. As in, do you mean you PMI'ed a weapon and duplicated it or something? I've had this happen too. You need to make sure you have a duplicated model for it. I think you can just extract the mod2 tags and duplicate those as well if you want separate models.

I duplicated the weapon, yes. I also duplicated the models and decrapped them. I think I may have a solution to this. If I PMI some objects that I am not going to use, can I get them to be crapped instead?
