PMI Question

I am trying to PMI a Wraith into Bloodgulch. I successfully did the part where you put the wraith into the map, but now, I am trying to get it in-game, literally, like making it spawn and such. I have gone through PMI tutorials, but none work.

I am on a mac, and if anyone knows how to successfully complete the last part of PMI, please help me.

Sorry, I dont have an AIM.

Thing is, everytime I read a PMI tutorial, it involves Tools and options that I dont have.

Am I missing something here?

I have it, and I used it to PMI, but the tutorials are all asking for HMT and SparkEdit to finish the last part, and both dont want to work for me.

are you on a PPC machine or an intel machine?

then you should be able to use the Intel version of Sparkedit. there is a PPC version and an Intel version. and they don't open Demo maps either.

Neither does HHK.

If you don't have HMT, you're not going to get anywhere in Halo mac modding. Sorry. You have to get it.

I have HMT, but I dont have HMT 3.5, because it is not compatable w/ mac.

HMT 3.5 has all those neat features that I can't use.

I have a mac. You can still do it. If you followed a mac tutorial, I don't see where you would get the problem. I've done it countless times with HMT 0.75

I have always used HHK, open the map in HHK, recursively export the thing you want, then recursively import into the map you want to mod.

I'm not sure your understanding me...

I can import the object into the map. I cannot make it spawn/appear in the map as a usable item, in my case, the wraith.

It exists in HMT, but it is not in the map, and I am wondering how to do that.

Then it's not a PMI qusetion. :|

Either go vintage and meta swap it, or read the end of the tutorial. It involves and tag class change and SparkEdit.

yes philly, the tag class change and sparkedit

both do not work: the tag class does not work, not sure why, and sparkedit does not have the command asked for in the tutorial

sorry if its not specifically pmi
