addings a car from a campaign map to multiplayer map
addings a car from a campaign map to multiplayer map
ok
so i use hmt 3.5
i extract bloodgulch and b30 through batch extract with metadata only
then i go to map rebuild and add the whole contents of the pelican folder
but when i go to rebuild it, it says there is a dependancy that cannot be found
what am i doing wrong?

Andrew he batch extracted the MP map and the SP map, then copied the pelican folder to his MP batch. Which means he missed a few files.
Not all files relating to the pelican are in the pelican folder. Batch extract your multiplayer map, then recursively save the pelican under the vehicle branch into an empty folder, and then copy everything inside that folder into you're batch. Now extract the raw model, decrap and then rebuild, selecting the pelican as a new tag. It should work beautifully now, if not post back with what the error is.

you got it. click the pelican under vehicles, check the 'recursive' box, and hit save. then select an empty folder as the spot to save it to. Until you're experienced and know what you're doing, and can edit the XML files to match the right source if you mess up, you should save it to somewhere empty.
ok...i took the whole bloodgulch map, batch extracted
then i went to b30 and went in every branch and anything that had pelican in it i saved into the vehical folder from bg with the foler in there named pelican and i rebuilt, it worked
but i cant find the things that i rebuilt into it!
