Hey guys, been a while since I've been on the forums here. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if theres any sertan way I need to folow for me to replace my bitmaps.map file in the Halo PC Maps Folder.

The thing is, Im just geting tired of the same old ugly skins that I currently have on, and I want them to be default again, but im having trouble geting there..... :? You see, what ever I try, the skins are back.

I've tried deleting it, and replacing it with another bitmaps.map file that I know dosent have skins. I start up halo, it works. I close it down, and start it back up, and guess what? they're back.

I've tried uninstalling, same thing happens.

I've tried geting the original skins in a .dds file, but so far I wasent able to find any.

Any help here would be appreshiated.

My system specs: Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 GHz Each, nVidia Gefore 8800 GT w/ latest drivers installed.

because vista is dumb, you probably have to open up hmt, go to open, but instead of opening your map, delete your bitmaps from inside the open box

i think that should reset it...
