Scenario Editing

Ok, I have some rebuilt duplicated weapon tags I want to incorporate alongside the already existing tags. I already tried placing them as scenery in Sparkedit, which gave me an exception error. I then tried editing the scenario with HHT, which seems to have screwed everything in the map up really badly.

Can anyone give me some kind of pointer as to where I should be going to do this? Thanks in advance. And if you help me with this, I'll throw something nice your way too. Sound Good?

Item collections. You need to duplicate some files before you rebuild. It was in my tutorial at PC.net, but you know... Look at how HHT lists the weapons. The scenario references item collections in multiplayer, instead of directly to the weapon in campaign. An item collection is just a piece of information (prove me wrong, conure) which has a respawn time and a dependency to the weapon, or piece of equipment. Look in the item collection folder before rebuild, and duplicate one. Manually change the dependency and include it in the rebuild. Swap it into the scenario using HHT and place and move using SparkEdit. Job done.

I did all that Philly, I know how ITMC tags work, I just wasnt sure how to put them into the map. What I did before was change the ITMC from a [itmc] to a [scen], and import-tag-into-scenario w/ sparkedit.

So fill in one of the empty slots in HHT with the ITMC tag, and then move with sparkedit? sounds good.

Yap. You might want to duplicate some equipment in SparkEdit first, though, so you don't have to overwrite anything.

I need a BSP. Conure should be sending me one, but I'll tell you if he doesn't. It's all fine otherwise. :D
