Mass Effect mod

I'm starting a mod... I've never really submitted any of my finished ones (lol..) and I feel like starting something new.
I literally just started but I already know I'm going to need some help. I'm a mediocre remodeler and a terrible skinner. I know exactly what I'm going to be doing for it, but I just need the help a bit or it won't turn out. At all.

Here's what I've got so far (just the assault rifle model. Spent maybe an hour on it.

Its in pretty bad shape, but it'll have to do until I get something better. Lol pickle.

Must've been a mistake.. Could've sworn you made a mod with a sniper in it that was awesome looking... oh well
The picklez needs to be adjusted, but its supposed to be a scope. I didn't really spend much time on it.

There's the gun, and the scope that needs more detail/skin.

ignoring the pickle skin, that's a really cool model. Better than I could do, anyways.
