"248 MB RAM"

How the hell do you live? Doesn't halo require 256?

heh...heh. funny.

Anyway, looks like you're shit out of luck. You can't just install DX10 on your computer, you need a new graphics card that supports it. And the only way to get halo to run at higher settings is to, again, buy a new card.

And some more ram for christ's sake. A 256mb card running windows xp is barely enough, let alone the 8mb to your sound card(probably). Ram is cheap, buy some. A mediocre graphics card alone would take 128mb of ram so without ram, don't buy anything else for your computer.

Nvm. None of you where really a help. I found what i was looking for

Intel (R) Extreme graphics.

My MB's are fine. I just need a new graphics card.
(lets see if you guy's can actually help instead of just saying 'Of your card sucks,or Ah ah ah your Shit out of luck.")

What's a good GFX card??

radeon 9600pro runs halo pc perfectly.

We were helping. Your "MBs" (ram) aren't fine. Don't be a dick if you want help.

get a mac, like me :D lol
Heck, I can even run Halo 2 vista on me iMac

But for actual help, eeeemmmm......I'm an ATI guy, and I wouldn't bother going for any of the latest cards, halo doesn't require much support to run on High options. So just go for one of em' medium-rare's lol

And yes, there's no need to update your RAM, halo requires a minimum of 128mb, your in the clear.
