BUT sparkedit only exports a mesh of the .map into .obj and provides no .mtl (material file) or textures... i need something that does this, i have found something that could work but doesnt for some reason. its this thing called deep exploration and it can convert supported filetypes. it has a batch extraction of geometry files available and when i attempt to convert a halo .map into wavefront object, it gives me a few export options. these are the ones
um the closest thing ive found is the hek bsp extractor, is that it? can someone just link me it if they have it plz it would be a great help, also will that tool be able to open the halo PC maps and not just halo CE maps? cuz i want to mod the hangemhigh map not the Halo CE maps
please anyone? closest ive found is halo ce bsp tag converter but i need the .scenario_structure_bsp file or tag or whatever which i dont have and if im not mistake i believe that is a halo 2 file........ where is this so called sbsp extractor ??
PC tools will not give you the materials or textures. CE. BSP Extractor is what you want because why? "I want to extract bsps as a .obj format with materials bla blah."
