Replacing the model...

hey, i've got a prob jst now and i've thought of a way to resolve it (if possible).
Is it possible to take the sidewinder pine tree, then replace the look of it with the timberland tree look. The only difference is that the sidewinder tree has snow on it.

Or, does anyone know a mod available to download, that has the timberland tree in a diff. map

You could PMI a tree from Timberland, and change the mod2 after selecting in under scen in HHT, or you can skin the tree itself.

Yea, thats the problem....

I basicly want a timberland tree in BG. I've pm'd the exact same looking tree from the map a30, to BG, but the top half of this tree has no collision. So, i then tried to PM the tree from timberland (which does have the collision) but heres what went wrong. When it came to extracting the raw model, I went to put the raw model in the correct location, which is scenery>trees>tree_pine_tall
BUT, there is no tree pine tall. Theres tree leafy, which is a completely different type of tree.

So i thought, why don't i take the tree from sidewinder, and change it to look like the tree from timberland.


OR....

What levels of the game (campaign) do you get to fly a banshee???

wrong location :P for timberlands tree its levels\test\timberland\mp_tree_pine_tall\mp_tree_pine_tall.

For multiplayer maps the location is different, how do you know the location path, its always the items name, so in this case the item is called levels\test\timberland\mp_tree_pine_tall\mp_tree_pine_tall, so in that case the path to the correct folder is that.
