HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

hiya, im not new to hmt i know how to inject textures and animations and so on ... but ive downloaded various files that are in .rar filetype i was just wondering what on earth i do to these to use them.. for example i have downloaded tazz's halo 3 weapon pack and i do not know how to use them is there anything i need to do ( convert...ect ) in order to change them to pff to inject the textures or what must i do? If you could help me id highly appreciate it - ty for ur time

This is the wrong section for one.

RAR files are the newer generation of ZIP files, seeing as they smaller. The compression method is better then ZIP.

For a free program, go to http://www.7-zip.org/. When it's installed, right click on the file, hit 7-Zip, then hit Open Archive.
