Hey, I’ve had HMT for a while now, just for noobish mods ECT and I think its time to up my game. I would like to know how to replace/create the skins or textures and UI. So... how do I do it? I can’t seem to convert .dds files properly, any program recommendations (other than Photoshop, $1000 lol yea right...)

also... if anyone has the latest (or close enough) hmt 3.5 plugin (64) can they please email it to me at cabbageking4@hotmail.com all the downloads ive found are either broken or filefront which dosnt work for me...

Thanks for any help.

I have Photoshop 7. I got it for $100 and it works just as good as CS2 and CS3 (which I use as well at times). You can use GIMP as well, though. You'd just have to locate a .dds plugin for it, which I don't know where you could find.

As for the UI, here's a tutorial on it.

I'll try to find a .dds plugin for you.
Edit: Well, I found an alternative to a plugin. You can use this program to convert the .dds file to a .jpeg, so you can edit it in another program. After editing, you can convert it back to .dds and inject it into the game. Here's a link.

I would use DXTBmp. It converts to BMP and loads directly into your editor, so there is less quality lost.
