Nope, tried everything. Nothing worked, can anybody send me a file to fix this. HMT Displays them correctly, but I think that it is in a different DDS format, one that Halo doesn't understand.

Do you have "DECALS" enabled in halo.
if not then there is your problem.

I have them enabled.
I'm thinking that bitmaps.map is corrupted but still copies properly, could anybody send me bitmaps.map from their CD, I just thought about this today.

No, we can't. That would be distributing copywrited content, which is illegal.

I think it would be OK to send him a file which he already has. If not, I would contact Bungie or get a new disk.

I believe it still would be going against copyright laws.
Before buying a new disk, install the Halo Trial game and see if the problem occurs there. If it does, it's just your computer.

Not exactly..
If you're on 9mbps cable such as me, you would be able to receive that file in a matter of minutes.. (if it's from some hosted site, not a direct transfer)
