My freind has Halo trial and can't get Full. I want to play him, but Halo is boring. Can someone please convert FTW to trial and send it to me? I keep getting exeption data when I try.

im currently converting redux i can do FTW when im done...
pepsi also said later on that you could convert to any other version of halo as long as you give credit

No, the convert by anyone was a general statement. Pepsi revised that when Blarg was whining in the FTW thread here.

He can't get the full game? Is he incapable of saving up 15$ for an old game?

wait wait what? thats not even possible to convert to trial The MP maps perhaps are possible but the SP maps arent possible at all i have tried and also thats illegal to release. and btw i bet you do not know how to convert full maps to demo <_< since i made the method for that and as far as i know not manny people can convert full to demo

thats illegal unless you own the game <_<

first what? its not illegal im taking skins and converting them skins that were edited that are already on halo trial and sp would be impossible for FTW but mp i could do... and besides im doing redux before i can see how FTW turns out... im not converting the entire maps either im just putting pepsi's skins on bloodgulch and b30 and editing the maps appropriately

i would listen to what Pepsi said. If not then you will have a ton of bricks coming down on you.

well as long as your not doing a 1337 job of converting maps to trial then by all means continue! lol i just miss read the whole thread

just to alliterate on something people may be mixed up on..

1. anyone messing with ftw is fine as long as credit is issued like i said in the mod release.

2. blarg does not have mine or nessas permission to publicly release or show any modding done to our work for various reasons we have seen with him in the past and his current attitude toward the mod.

im sure the community here will call him out on "bitting" the hell out of the mod any chance he can hence why the permission for him is revoked. if anyone spots something he does and i miss it just call "BS" on it and let the moderators take it from there.

For the bloodgulch map with the pelicans, i was recently directed to a copy of THMT, so I can rebuild in Trial . I could PMI it in, then replace all the skins with FTW skins(giving credit aswell tho). I will also have a go at trying to remake b30 and the UI.map.

I lawled, be glad that you can do bloodgulch (which doesn't always work anyway even with THMT), but i will say this straight up you will NEVER be able to do the ui. Also b30 is doubtful......

by recreating i didnt mean converting, i meant trying to make a really good replica =\ i already knew that b30 and ui wouldnt work

i added most of the FTW textures too, im almost done with Bloodgulch.

For some reason it plays fine ingame but when i try to load in SparkEdit it says out of memory...

Sparkedit + Trial = problems. Normally I'd say sparkify the mapfile but that doesn't help when the map is rebuilt (and thus some of the necessary values don't work anymore). If it was demo I'd recommend demo hack, but I don't know how well that works on PCs. You could learn how to change the header by hand I suppose.
