HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok this is weird I am trying to mod bloodgulch but every time I switch projectile tags and save every time I finish something. I would go and play and nothing happened. There is only one mod(assault rifle shoots frag grenades that blow up at your feet). I even tried to delete the map and replace it with the backup map. Still didnt work. I checked the backup maps tags and it was fine. So I deleted all the maps and reinstalled the Halo game . But again the mods wont work(the assault rifle still shoots frag grenades). So I deleted all the maps and left the Halo installed and Bloodgulch still played even after I deleted the main map and the backup map.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please post.

i would like to know how you are making the assault rifle shoot frags, there are several ways. since you are using hmt, i will assume you're swapping metas. Make sure you are doing it right: navigate to your MAPS folder, and select a map, remembering which one. open it and go to the projectile tab. select the frag grenade. copy its meta offset numbers. go to the assault rifle bullet tag. Paste the meta numbers and hit save. close hmt. open halo and play that map in a LAN game that you host. fire the AR. Let me know if that fails.

run both halo and hmt as an administrator.

I tried running halo after pressing "Run as Administrator" and the mods worked. Thanks

Always run everything as a admin. You should have no problems at all. Don't just go, oh this works as a admin and this doesn't and blah ablh ablh. Just run everything as it.
