h3 rocket race mod ideas

I'm making a rocket race mod for Halo PC, after I saw the "rocket race" playlist in Halo 3, I thought, "why not make a mod out of it?"

So I've started, and so far I made the 'hog like this,
(ignore the flaming wheels and sniper rifle)

Since I can't model very well, I am increasing the speed of the hog and I will null out the normal passenger seat(as well as taking off the flames). I will also make ramps(instead of grav lifts, etc.) and move the race destinations in midair, and mod the scenario so you start with rocket launchers(infinite ammo) I'm wondering, is there anything else I can maybe add to this?(I dont want any ce>pc in this, maybe PMI st00f?) and is the chief floating in the air above the hog while hes sitting because of the coll model of the turret?

BTW does a Halo 3 hog have an antenna?

sniper skin is horrid. And don't use the flaming wheels.

the mod seems to be pretty basic and easy. I could do this in a matter of minutes. you should make a gravity lift, as a matter of fact.

i said that i wouldnt use the flaming wheels and the sniping skin was for when i was testing skinning, it wont be in there(i can skin alot better now, plus its rockets only, so it wouldnt matter)

youre right, maybe it is too easy, new BSP, PMI crap mb? what SP maps would be good for rocket race?

btw maybe for grav lift i could have something that chain spawns projectiles that push you higher, but the problem with that is the BLOOD spills out of you =\ but since i might switch out the mc collision model for the assault rifle ammo(for invincibility) i guess it wouldnt make much of a difference

How about spawn a weapon upwards with a trigger lock and shoots when dropped turned on, and the ROF set to a crazy number with all the damage effects nulled. and then drop the range on the projectile to only about 20 feet.

null out gun seat...make turret invisible...make rockets have high force...damage = 0.000000001....uhhh...warthog faster...would work better with new race spawns...and.....

oh spawns around hogs only :P

Andrew, why not just make damage zero lawl. Flaming wheels have go to go. And that sniper skin looks ugly :(.

I dont know about this, but i think you can remove the gunseat altogether with a bit of modelling, then switch the name of the seat to w-passenger, and you might be able have it so he
a: sits over the edge of the hog
b: sits on the invisible seat of nothing-ness

everything else i agree with >_>
