The elite remodeled into a brute. It still needs some more work though. Ok, a lot of work.



The first few levels dont have the elite_special model, so I guess remodeling those separate pieces of the normal elite to scale will be a pain >_<
Since they are divided into about 8 or 9 sets, is it possible to just use one set of the models? Like this:
arms (0)
head (0)
torso (0)
legs (0)
instead of:
arms (0)
head (0)
torso (0)
legs (0)
arms (1)
head (1)
torso (1)
legs (1)
arms (2)
head (2)
torso (2)
legs (2)

Honestly, the right side of him(his right, our left), looks a bit larger than the other side. And the spike on the right side of his head, is definitely bigger than the other. Try to make things more symmetric. But its good for a start I guess.

Yeah I'll try to touch up those. I'll get a pic with better lighting too. a50 isn't that great for photos. I also want to see him weilding an energy sword.

EDIT: I've patched up the brute somewhat. I'm using the elite_special model for all the elites, so I won't have to remodel as much. And, I can say with confidence that the brute is easily recognized while playing. I'm still working on the normal elite remodel. That one is a doozy

That question has been asked countless times.

You set the LODs to 0 with the HHT plugin. Then it will always use the topmost LOD

not bad, especially since it is a remodel.

As soon as you get a skin, you can have my brute plasma rifle used properly.

That's still pretty cool though. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished.

The regular elites in a10 and a30 are starting to shape up. I'll have a new pic or 2 tmrw.

Are you making a Halo 3 mod or something? I could help you with duplicating the bipeds if you wanted.

Its looks meh. If you want a real brute try ce but this is meh for a remodel anyways.
