Gold wave corrupt???

ok, I restarted my computer one time, because it froze. My Computer has no restart button, just hold the power button for 10 sec and it force shutdowns.
When I reboot, and inject my sound, during gameplay, it makes the spray sound ( 4 wen you have no or broken sound.)
Could it be that my Goldwave is corrupt because of force restart?

no, it just means the sound file is corrupted. try it again.

try with a fresh sounds.map file.

then i would say that something you are doing is wrong, because applications have built-in safety features that prevent that from happening.

I restored the maps file agen and left the pistol sound untouched, now it works (phew)

I bet your problem was that you didnt save the file in the right format and have the right numbers of samples.
