flamethrower flame (burning ground and gun front)

flamethrower flame (burning ground and gun front)

im using leets brute shot model for the flamethrower and i used this tutorial on how to make a grenade launcher: http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=72917

the tut worked fine but now i want to know how to get rid of teh flame at the front of the gun and when the nades hit the ground a flame pops up.

i got rid of the flame sound and the flame when u fire

help would be appreciated

try nulling out
weapons\flamethrower\effects\flame thrower jet
weapons\flamethrower\effects\flame thrower pilot
weapons\flamethrower\effects\defoilant
weapons\flamethrower\effects\defoilant2
weapons\flamethrower\effects\defoilant
weapons\flamethrower\effects\defoilant3
weapons\flamethrower\effects\defoilant2

well that got rid of the flame at the front of the gun but not the flame that pops up when the nades hit the ground

well, if a grenade blows up, you are going to have fire. um try looking in the projectile tags and see if there are anything relating to fire.

ill just leave it as an effect of the grenade exploding.....thanks for the help on the flame on the front

its a particle system...in hht disable the dependencies. it may be a particle or decal..but im pretty sure its a particle system.
