:D I need help giving the assult rifle a zoom bitmap, when i zoom up. Not just a plain aimer. like the sniper. Like when you zoom up with sniper you get the scope bitmap. I want to make a new type of scope or bitmap for the assult rifle. PLease Help :!:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but one way of doing this is to take a pistol or something with the zoom bitmap slot in it, and swap the model of your gun and the coll. and everything else needed (coll. anims. weap hud. sounds.) in a dependancy swapper. And edit the zoom bitmap to your liking.
I know that will work but there may be an easier way of doing so. Your other option is CE

no, what you can do is duplicate the scope bitmaps. then make the AR weapon hud into the duplicated Pistol one. edit the bitmaps and you are done.

Your welcome but,
There was no point on posting this in the other thread:

Just do what bcnipod said.

P.S. Can you fix the name? (make it Giving an aimer) The bad grammar is starting to annoy me for some reason.

I use your tutorial everytime I rebuild something. Well, I dont actually open it up and use it, but I use it in the sense that I use that method.

Yeah, can't you just open HHT, open your weapon and swap the WPHI of the pistol to the AR. I dont know why, but for some reason thats the first thing I thought of when I read this.

Well, I could swap, but I wouldn't have seperate bitmap/scopes for when zooming up.

examine the tags...

Huh?

here is the information i learned by just looking at the pistol wphi and the ar wphi in hht.

This is possible...
The pistol has 4 more dependencies than the ar (all zoom related).
These dependencies are needed for you to do what you want...shall i take an ingame picture?

Andrew viewing my sig full screen on Internet Explorer, 1024x768 the text is perfectly centered. Maybe it's firefox doing that for you?

Ok everything was working...except im not sure how to make it the pistol reticle because its all the same dependencies. only difference is the chunk bits or w/e in the xml. still working on it.
