AI help please

Hi. Would anyone know how to make marines either follow you around or charge at the enemy? Thank you for your time.

i would say scripting of some sort.

Conure will know. It's something to do with the scenario, I believe.

to make them charge, in hmt go to in the (act) actor look at the check boxes in the editor and look for "Always charge in attack" check that. For a little bit more charging, go into the actor variant tab and scroll down and look for "disired combat range" change it to 1, and in the "disired combat range to" change it to 1.5. This will make the marines want to get close to shoot, but they still will shoot from regular range. This does not mean they wont shoot until there at that range :wink:

One more question, in 343 i have swapped one flood varient to have a marine biped with floodcombat humn collision model, is there any way i can make he throw grenades?

read the tutorial. it sould tell you how to make them throw nades.

i'm not sure they can :( as far as I know they don't have a grenade throwing animation but i don't know much so there is still hope

so now the human-combat flood for looks like a marine, but has the original collision model?

yes, the human combat flood has a marine biped but the original collison model. shooting them once will make them go beserk.

then i would say that they should be able to throw nades. make sure it is checked off.
