I have been trying to learn how to add custom sounds for a year now, and I still havnt found the right answer!!! Yes, I have seen the Tutorials obout sounds, I even wrote one>>> http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=67744 (yes I am sniper336 too)

And I still cant figure some the smallest things, like making a whole new sniper shot sound from scratch. Pease could someone, if you know exacly what i am talking about, put a link of a tutorial, or pm me a tutorial! I have a silencer sound that I want to take the place of the sniper shot sound, but I don't know how to convert it, and import it into halo. I save it {xbox adpcm 22.050 kHz, 4 bit, mono} and hmt says it imported into the game fine, then it gives me this wierd sound when I load up the game and try the sound out(screach sound). This has happened countless times, well every time I have tried to import a new adpcm file(Ogg works fine) Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh for *** sake. Just use CE for things like this, it's been said that making custom sounds and getting them in-game doesn't go too well with just PC.

Then why do I always see it done? well, even if its extremely hard or normaly doesnt work, I still want to know how.
